The festivals and folklore originated from ancestral worship activities. Chinese festivals of Intangible Cultural Heritage include Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival and Ghost Festival. Festivals are an important manifestation of spiritual and cultural rooted in a national time system. Unlike Western religious festivals, Chinese festivals rely on the Lunar Calendar, the coordination of the relationship between humans and nature, as the core is endowed with "specific rhythms and cycles". These days with special significance and symbolism were passed down through folk songs and later recorded in literature.
